During the ProTec Rescue Diver program, you will have the opportunity to learn about problem avoidance and accident management. You will also learn how to use the diving skills in helping others in problematic situations underwater and on the surface.
After participation in this program, the graduates should be able to manage diving accidents and apply successful techniques of direct interventions in emergency situations.
Prerequisites:
- Minimum age is 15 years old
- Dive knowledge (theoretical and practical), approved by an instructor
- ProTec AOWD or ProTec 2** Diver certificate or equivalent
- ProTec Medical First Aid certificate or comparable (Aqua Med (DES) or DAN Diving First Responder DFR).Important! The certificate cannot be older than 24 months.
- ProTec Search & Recovery certificate or equivalent
